AHRQ Recognizes MasiMax Staff

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) recognized MasiMax staff for exceptional performance at an awards ceremony in Rockville, Maryland on September 19, 2006. MasiMax provides a variety of communication support services to the Office of Communication and Knowledge Transfer (OCKT).

"We're proud that our AHRQ project staff received this recognition for their exemplary leadership and teamwork," said Marilyn Massey-Ball, MasiMax president and CEO. "Our entire staff working onsite at AHRQ does an outstanding job fulfilling OCKT's communication needs."

AHRQ Director Dr. Carolyn Clancy presented awards to the following MasiMax employees:

  • Bob Isquith, Marion Torchia, and Campbell Gardett, News and Numbers Team, for creating and implementing AHRQ News and Numbers from MEPS and HCUP data to increase awareness of AHRQ as a leading resource for statistical information.
  • Mike Tucker, Morgan Liscinsky, Marion Torchia, and Campbell Gardett, Speech Writing and Outreach Team, for increasing awareness of AHRQ's mission and programs by elevating the speaking profile of the Agency Director to more strategic and higher-profile speeches and venues.
  • Nate Robinson and Patricia Carmack, Town Hall Meeting Team, for developing and implementing innovative Town Hall Meetings as a catalyst for creating a direct dialogue with consumers on the issue of health care quality.
  • Joanne Robinson, NHQR/DR, State Snapshot Development Team, for outstanding teamwork creating informative and creative State Snapshots of 2005 NHQR/DR data.
  • Campbell Gardett and Bob Isquith, Effective Health Care Team, for hard work and dedication in launching the Effective Health Care Program.
