MasiMax Meets Big Challenge under HUD's "Big Buy" Program

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued a CLASS (Comprehensive Lead Assessment Subsystem) Task Order to MasiMax under the auspices of its "Big Buy" Program, to address a challenging requirement. MasiMax Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs), Environmental Health and Safety Specialists, and Computer Specialists are providing lead-based paint support services to HUD's Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control (OHHLHC). One of MasiMax's responsibilities under this program included conducting lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments at 100 properties nationwide.

MasiMax responded to this challenge by mobilizing a team of experienced, qualified, and accredited Lead-Based Paint Inspectors and Risk Assessors to complete all of the inspections and risk assessments in accordance with HUD Lead Safe Housing protocols within a 60-day period, which met HUD's schedule requirements. In addition to conducting the inspections, MasiMax is HUD's Quality Assurance Reviewer for all inspection reports submitted to the OHHLHC by other service providers. MasiMax is responsible for providing technical review of reports submitted by all Contractors performing inspections and risk assessments to ensure they meet the technical and quality requirements specified by HUD
