The MasiMax Story, Continued.

GROWTH BY DESIGN, DESIRE, AND DEDICATION

MasiMax Resources, Inc. (www.masimax.com), headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, is celebrating 10 years as a corporation. As an industry leader in health communications and safety, MasiMax continues to thrive while fulfilling its mission of Advancing Knowledge Exchange for a Safe and Healthy Society.

MasiMax's evolution is a story of growth by design, desire, and dedication. MasiMax President and CEO, Marilyn Massey-Ball, M.P.H., began conceptualizing the company in the mid-1980s, having held senior and executive-level positions at several area consulting firms. Ms. Massey-Ball launched MasiMax in 1993 as a sole proprietorship specializing in acquiring, assessing, and disseminating health information. By consistently providing superior, value-added products and services, MasiMax quickly earned respect for its responsiveness, innovation, and high-quality work.

In June 1995, the National Cancer Institute awarded a 5-year, $2.9 million, small business set-aside contract to MasiMax. That was MasiMax's first multiyear, multimillion-dollar contract; upon award, Ms. Massey-Ball felt that MasiMax was "officially in business" and therefore regards 1995 as the company's pivotal year of operation.

MasiMax entered the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program in 1996 and graduated from the Program on August 15, 2005. Through its participation in the 8(a) Program, the company won many contracts, expanded its products and service areas, and forged vital business relationships. MasiMax remains qualified as a Small Disadvantaged Business under the SBA's Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Certification and Eligibility.

MasiMax's farsighted, strategic planning and hires have produced a sizeable portfolio of active contracts; a substantial backlog of business that extends into 2010; and a corporate culture that has attracted and retained a diverse, loyal, and highly skilled workforce. MasiMax currently has 125 employees, who work at the headquarters office in Rockville, Maryland, several branch offices in Reston, Virginia, and Washington, DC.

Many of MasiMax's contracts are with the National Institutes of Health and other components of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The company also works with other Federal departments and offices and with various organizations in both the public and private sectors, including the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), U.S. Department of State, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), General Services Administration (GSA), U.S. Department of Education (ED), U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), U.S. Office of Compliance, and The White House.

MasiMax's 10th anniversary celebration became more jubilant when the company recently won its largest contract. On September 30, 2005, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded MasiMax and its teaming partners a 5-year contract worth almost $36 million. The USAID contract will implement the Analysis, Information Management, and Communications (AIM) Activity of the Bureau of Global Health for all of its offices.

Every MasiMax employee helps the company to monitor the marketplace. Ms. Massey-Ball notes: "We value every lead, contact, or nugget of intelligence that any staff member has to offer. Our employees are the eyes and ears of the company, and we welcome all ideas for new products and services, or new applications. That is how MasiMax remains proactive, responsive, and nurturing."
