Beginning in fall 2004, Science & Practice Perspectives was delivered via e-mail. A specially designed promotional flier drew hundreds of requests for this new service. MasiMax helped NIDA launch this innovative peer-reviewed journal−one of only three peer-reviewed journals published by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Science & Practice Perspectives is at the heart of NIDA's major initiative to bridge the gap between research and practice. The journal is produced up to three times yearly and sent to more than 25,000 researchers and clinicians.
